Advancing the adaptability and evolution of WPS as a framework for implementing policy change

6-8 June 2023, Washington, D.C.


The United States and Romania are pleased to invite you to the fifth Capital-Level Meeting of the Women, Peace and Security Focal Points Network, which will take place in Washington, D.C., United States from June 6-8, with an optional Parliamentary engagement and luncheon for Focal Points on June 9.

The Network will be gathered under the Co-Chairship theme: “Advancing the adaptability and evolution of WPS as a framework for implementing policy change.”  This theme embodies and supports a continuation of the work the Network has done for years, as well as a response to gaps in WPS implementation and the recent global backlash against gender equality.
