Colombia’s NAP weaves together intersectional, antiracist, territorial, human rights, and gender approaches. It emphasizes the recognition of diverse identities as critical factors impacting individual safety and rights, particularly in regions affected by violence. The plan’s creation is a collective effort that included over 1500 women, led by the Ministry of Equality and supported by women’s organizations.

Colombia published its first National Action Plan on November, 2024. Results from its implementation will be shared as progress is made.
