Canada’s National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security guides its development, humanitarian and peace and security efforts to implement the agenda. It includes commitments from nine federal partners and establishes an Advisory group comprised of civil society, Indigenous representatives, and government experts. It focuses not only on Canada’s efforts internationally, but also acknowledges insecurity faced within our borders, particularly Indigenous peoples.
