Switzerland and South Africa are pleased to invite you to the fourth capital-level meeting of the Women, Peace and Security Focal Points Network, which will take place in Geneva, Switzerland from 18 to 19 May 2022.

The Network will be gathered under the co-chairship theme: “Partnering for Change – Translating the Women, Peace and Security Agenda into Action.” This theme embodies the objective of the Network as a global platform advancing the implementation of the WPS agenda through cooperation and captures the partnership between South Africa and Switzerland.

Building on the substantial work done by previous chairs and co-chairs, the high-level plenary sessions will feature speakers who focus on “Implementing the Women, Peace and Security Agenda through Multistakeholder Action” and “Fulfilling the Promise of the Women, Peace and Security Agenda to Address Current Conflicts”.
