Argentina has a comprehensive vision of peace which has enabled a preventive vision of addressing conflicts. Its Women, Peace and Security National Action Plans (NAPs) include the participation of numerous government agencies beyond those directly related to international peace and security, that can contribute to the construction of peace in the post-conflict period. The elaboration and implementation of the NAPs contributes to gender mainstreaming in all the involved government agencies. Argentina’s NAPs are conceived with a focus on national, regional and international actions.
